The Montgomery County Planning Commission recognized the latest winners of its Montgomery Awards for Excellence in Planning and Design. The 2007 Land Development Award was presented to Station Square Apartment Homes & Shops, a mixed use development on a former "brownfield" in Upper Gwynedd Township and Lansdale Borough.

The Land Development Award recognizes excellence in land development and innovative planning concepts in Montgomery County. Projects recognized by the award exemplify exceptional site planning and design, innovative planning concepts, environmental sensitivity, or the presentation of natural and cultural amenities.
